About

Jorge Vallina

My work has been exhibited in museums, galleries, and private collections locally and nationally. I enjoy contributing to my community by teaching workshops and donating my art to charities that benefit children with disabilities and U.S. Military Veterans.

My artistic journey is deeply rooted in my academic background. I graduated from the University of Miami in 1983 with a BA in Fine Arts, specializing in Graphic Design and Illustration. This educational experience allowed me to explore various mediums including airbrush, pencil, collage, acrylics, oils, and digital imaging, shaping my versatile artistic style.

In addition to my major, I also completed a minor in Psychology at the University of Miami. This unique combination of art and psychology has enriched my creative process, enabling me to create artworks that not only showcase technical skill but also resonate deeply on an emotional and psychological level. My work is a reflection of this intricate blend of artistic skill and understanding of the human psyche.
